ConceptGirl is a Washington, DC based, multi-disciplined design and illustration studio specializing in unique design and ideas. Consisting primarily of work by Kay Christy, ConceptGirl aims to match ideas and media to individual client needs, while bringing new concepts to bear whether in architectural arenas or graphically branded ideas.
Kay Christy is an artist who enjoys working with both digital and traditional forms of media. She holds an MFA in computer art from Savannah College of Art and Design and a BFA in printmaking from Rhode Island School of Design. Kay has taught and presented at numerous schools and conferences on a wide range of media, from 3d animation to video to polymer jewelry making. Conferences include National Association of Broadcasters, Consumer Electronics Show, Digital Media DC, and the International Virtual Reality Photographic Association among others.
